Our main tradition is pizza on Christmas Eve. My family has been going out for pizza since I was a kid on Christmas Eve.

O love your traditions! It is so nice that you remember your grandfather each year. I agree with you, I hate traveling on the holiday - it is just so much easier being at my own house.

My mom makes homemade noodles too! How funny is that. My favorite part is letting her roll them and I get to cut them.

We make Homemade Chicken and Dumplings! Yummo! The dumplings are more like noodles not the big fluffy kind. It's a recipe that was handed down from my DH's grandmother. I love the candle idea!

I highly recommend one of the fabulously delicious overnight casseroles you can find on AllRecipes.com! I make a baked french toast on Christmas Eve, then run down stairs in the morning to take it out of the fridge and bake it. Or you can find an egg casserole do to the same type of thing!
